Talens Art Creation water-soluble oil pastels are creamy oil pastels that apply smoothly and blend easily. Unlike regular oil pastels, these can be mixed with water to create even smoother colour transitions and make the intense colours more transparent. Apply directly onto paper after wetting the pastels themselves, wet the paper and then apply pastel, or use a wet brush to take colour from the pastel onto the paper, to achieve different effects. You can even apply water to already applied pastel marks to smooth out texture and improve blending and colour gradients.
Available in sets of 12, 24 and 36 colours.
