Milliput is a two-part, cold setting, non shrinking epoxy putty. Simply break off the amount you need from both sticks (a 1:1 ratio), mix them together and you're ready to get moulding! Drying time varies but is usually 3-4 hours depending on thickness.

Milliput is :

  • Self hardening
  • Non shrinking
  • Tough and durable
  • Sets underwater
  • Electrically insulating
  • Water, heat and chemical resistant
  • Highly adhesive to most materials
  • Moulds like putty - sets like rock

To make sure you're using the right Milliput for the job, see below:

Superfine White - specially formulated for the restoration of porcelain and ceramics where a fine finish is desired. Excellent for fixing sinks, swimming pools etc. (NOTE: Because the two-part sticks for this Milliput type are both white, it can be difficult to ascertain whether you have fully mixed the putty together or not. It is always worth mixing the putty a little more than you feel is necessary just in case).

Silver Grey - suitable for applications that do not involve extremely fine details. Slightly finer than Standard Milliput. Ideal for repairs to stone coloured garden ornaments.

Black - suitable for matching a black surface without painting it afterwards. Once cured, can be drilled, filed and sanded afterwards.

Terracotta - suitable for restoring brown ceramics without the need for painting afterwards. Featured in the gardening sections of national newspapers and leading gardening magazines.

Standard Yellow Grey - suitable for most tasks. Has been used for many years for the toughest tasks. Some typical applications include modelmaking, jewellery making and sculpting. If you plan on painting your project after the Milliput has cured, this is the most cost effective option.
