Legendary among pastel artists, Pastelmat from Clairefontaine is a truly unique paper with a strong, velvety surface that offers more tooth than traditional Ingres papers but without the abrasive qualities of sanded papers. Suitable even for fineline artwork due to its subtle texture, Pastemat offers exceptionally vibrant colour rendition for all types of pastel including soft and hard pastels, oil pastels and pastel pencils, and can also be used with charcoal, colored pencils, acrylics, watercolors and gouache. Acid-free.
