Faster-drying than traditional oils, Winsor & Newton's Griffin Alkyd range is made from a polymerized vegetable-derived oil that when mixed with solvent, closely mimics linseed oil based paint. Remaining workable for 4 to 8 hours and touch-dry in 18 to 24, the consistent drying times across the range alleviate a lot of the limitations associated with traditional oil paint, allowing for thick impasto and easier overpainting. Formulated with the best quality pigments and materials for excellent colour consistency and lightfastness, Griffin Alkyd oil paint is available in 48 colours.
